Natural Balance Pet Foods, Inc. is issuing a voluntary recall on a select number of products manufactured at Diamond Pet Foods’ Gaston, SC facility, as a precautionary measure. None of the Natural Balance products included in the recall have tested positive for Salmonella.

Natural Balance takes its “Buy With Confidence” program very seriously. The company, which spends $1 million annually on a lab that tests products for nine known contaminants, will not allow any product to hit the market before these tests have been passed. Consumers can go online (http://bwc.naturalbalanceinc.com) and use the date code on the back label to find the actual test results for their Natural Balance product.
